Subject content

Types of production lines and equipment layout. Systems of intermediate transport in the clothing industry. Spreading of cutting layers. Cutting of cutting layers, machinery and equipment. Procedures of front fusing. Characteristics of seams and sewing. Properties of sewing threads for machine sewing. Strength of garment seams. Specificities of the process of sewing knitwear. Universal and special sewing machines. Dependance of the use of sewing automata and units on garment construction. Technological analysis in the process of clothing production and selection of means of production. Machines and devices for intermediate and finishing pressing. Structure of technological operations of the processes of clothing produciton. Machine efficiency.

Aim of course

Students acquire encyclopedic knowledge of garment production.
