Subject content

Operation of dry finishing: Cleaning, Singeing. Smoothing of texile matrials; Calandering Pressing, Mangling, Napping, Shearing, Sueding, Brushing, Ratinering, Polishing, Beating. Dimensional stability celulosic, wool and sintetic material. Process Control.

Aim of course

During the study students will learn about different dry textile finishing. The course will provide students with competences on dry finishing.
