Subject content
Introduction to subject (recycling definition, government initiatives and legislation, world trends). Textile recycling methodology (collection, screening and sorting, mechanical, chemical, thermal and/or physical methods for textile transformation to new raw materials). Textile recycling products, their processing and re-use, ecological importance and economic meaning of textile recycling.
Aim of course
The students acquire knowledge that formsan adequate basis necessary for designing the most appropriate way of recycling particular textiles and safe disposal of textile wastes.
