Subject content
Basics of textile printing, printing methods, finishing. Production of printing screen and engraved rollers (classical, computer and laser method). Selection of dyestuff, thickener and additives. Printing cellulose, protein and synthetic fibres. Pigment printing. Selection and effect mechanism of binding means. Pigment dyestuff. Jet printing.
Aim of course
In industrial design of textiles, knowledge of printing techniques gives full liberty in expression and textile finishing from ready-made clothes to interiors.
