Subject content
The main design parameters of the spun ring and rotor yarn structures and mathematical expressions for their determination. Configuration of fibers in the yarn. Wrapped yarn produced on spinning machine with a hollow spindle. Structure of wrapped yarn. Design of structures and properties of elastic yarn produced on ring spinning machine. Structural parameters of the yarn produced by aerodynamic spinning process. Fancy yarns with variations of mass and twist. Structure and properties of compact yarn. Periodic and non-periodic errors in spun yarns. Correlation of structure and physical-mechanical properties of the yarns.
Aim of course
The aim of the course is that the students acquire practical and theoretical knowledge of structure designing the spun, elastic and fancy yarns, as well as structure and properties of different composite yarns. Theoretical knowlege of ring, rotor, aerodynamic and wraped yarns unevenness.
