Sensors and sensor integration into garment parts. Sensors of temperature, pressure, acceleration, location, force, humidity, breathing, heartbeat, blood pressure, respiration, gases and special sensors. Integration of measurement systems, data acquisition, analogic digital converter, conversion methods and data interpretation. Algorithms of intelligent behaviour. Systems of microcomputers and microcontrollers in intelligent clothing, storage, circuits, input/output channels, communication with environment, programming. Characteristic actuators and their integration into the system. Integration of the electroenergetic power supply system into intelligent clothing. Integration of the telemetry and telecommunication system. Integrated systems of the active thermal protection of intelligent clothing; systems for health and body condition supervision. Connecting the GPS, GSM and other specialized systems to the integrated systems in intelligent clothing.
Aim of course
Familiarization of students with the most modern scientific research area of clothing technologies - construction and production of intelligent clothing. All contemporary integration methods of nanotechnological systems, from sensors over microcomputers and microcontrollers, algorithms of intelligent behaviour to actuators of intelligent clothing are studied in the course.
