Subject content

Structure of organic dyes and pigments and their spectroscopic characterization using the following methods: UV/Vis, IR, 1H i 13C NMR, MS. Principles of different methods and instruments. Preparation of dye samples for corresponding spectroscopic method. Interpretation of results achieved by spectroscopic analyses.

Aim of course

To master ordinary spectroscopic and spectrometric methods, and to learn how to apply and chose corresponding method for structural characterization of organic dyes and pigments.
