Subject content

Organising the industrial engineering sector. Methods of industrial engineering. The JIT strategy. The techniques of scientific research and optimisation. Rationalising manufacture. The Toyata system. Planning the processes and operations. Developing and maintaining exact standards. Informational and communications management. Engineering ethics. Strategic dimensions of computer systems. Methods of simulating working systems and industrial processes. Systems of programming simulations. Presentation of the process of systematic manufacturing structure analysis.

Aim of course

The course content is apoplicable in the wide area of manufacture and business, primarily for the investigations and development of manufacturing systems and processes, as well as for the introduction of new manufacturing concepts and excellence in manufacture. The application of contemporary methods of industrial engineering will offer a scientific approach to planning and optimising the processes as early as the phase of designing the manufacturing systems.
